Consider life coaching if:
You are looking to deepen your understanding of yourself
You want to show up authentically in all parts of your life
You feel unsatisfied with your relationships
You want to learn new communication skills
You want to feel confident, either for the first time or after a major change in your life
You want to explore and learn how to live more aligned with your values
You want to recognize when to set a boundary and how to do so assertively
You are trying to protect your peace
You want to change the relationship you have with yourself
When is it time to consider mental health therapy?
Coaching is NOT a replacement for therapy. Coaching is not appropriate for individuals with high risk needs or who want to focus on specific mental health disorder concerns (e.g eating disorders, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, self harm, psychosis, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, chronic and/or severe depression, OCD, addiction and substance use, crippling anxiety).
If you are struggling to feel safe in your own body, your home, or at work, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional.

Coaching is for individuals seeking to increase their understanding of themselves and use this increased self-awareness to change the parts of their lives that are getting in the way of their goals. Coaching is not for individuals in need of higher levels of care.
You will not receive a medical diagnosis in coaching and I will not keep a medical record.
Therapy is right for you if you find you are struggling to function in your daily life, or are dealing with any high risk concerns (e.g eating disorders, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, self harm, psychosis, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, chronic and/or severe depression, OCD, addiction and substance use, crippling anxiety)

Each session is 55 minutes.
You may find you’ve met your goals in as few as 6 sessions, however, most clients find they feel they are ready to terminate services between 3 months and 1 year. How long we work together is totally up to you!

After our initial consult, we will spend the first few sessions getting to know each other, establishing trust and creating your goals. After that, a typical session looks like discussing any homework or reflection work assigned in the prior session, problem-solving any issues or barriers that came up, learning and practicing new skills, and/or empathetic support. Throughout our work together, I will both challenge and support you, and I expect that you come to sessions prepared to engage.
